A Warm & Practical Approach To Retirement
I support people as they navigate shaping their retirement — helping them find clarity, rebuild purpose, and design a joyful and meaningful next chapter.
Background & experience
My work draws on a coaching-based approach, reflective conversation, and practical guidance to support women in shaping a joyful and meaningful retirement.
I have a background in professional coaching, including formal UK coaching qualifications and experience working with individuals navigating significant life and career transitions. While this experience included business and executive coaching, my focus now is on supporting women through their personal retirement journey.
I bring experience in:
One-to-one coaching and guided conversations
Supporting people through life transitions and change
Helping individuals reflect, reset and move forward
Workshop facilitation and group reflection
Writing practical retirement-focused resources
My approach and who I support
My work is warm, calm and practical. I provide space to talk things through, reflect on what matters, and take gentle steps forward.
There is no pressure and no fixed formula. Everything is shaped around your pace, your priorities and your situation. I work with women who are:
Approaching retirement or newly retired
Retired for some time
Feeling uncertain about what comes next
Missing structure or purpose
Wanting a more fulfilling next chapter
Adjusting to unexpected changes in retirement
A little more personally
Outside of coaching and writing, I enjoy the quieter things in life — long conversations over coffee, cooking, walking my dog Flynn, and spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren here in Perth.
Like many women, I believe that retirement is not simply about stopping work. It is about finding a new rhythm, new meaning, and creating a life that still feels connected, purposeful and joyful.
That belief sits at the heart of everything I do and is what led me to create The Joyful Retirement Coach.
