WELCOME
Supportive Workshops Led With Warmth & Practicality
My online workshops combine thoughtful guidance, practical exercises and friendly conversation in a warm and supportive setting.
They are designed to feel welcoming rather than overwhelming, with gentle structure, small moments of insight and practical tools you can continue using long after the workshop has finished.
Join from the comfort of your own home and connect with women who, like you, are navigating retirement and asking many of the same questions. Whether you are approaching retirement, newly retired or simply wondering what comes next, you will be very warmly welcomed.
GENTLE INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP
A Welcoming First Step Into Your Golden Chapter
If you are approaching retirement, newly retired or simply wondering why this stage of life feels more complicated than expected, this welcoming online workshop offers the opportunity to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself—all from the comfort of your own home.
Together, we'll explore some of the emotional and practical changes retirement can bring, including identity, routine, relationships, purpose and the shape of everyday life after work.
You don't need to have everything figured out. This isn't about reinventing yourself overnight or creating the "perfect retirement." It's simply an opportunity to reflect, share ideas and begin discovering what you would like this next chapter to become.
The workshop is relaxed, friendly and interactive, with gentle guided activities, thoughtful conversation and practical ideas you can take away and put into practice straight away.
Your workshop also includes one month's complimentary membership of The Joyful Retirement Community — a warm, supportive online community where you can continue the conversation, join live Coffee & Chat sessions, meet other women, and keep building a retirement you truly enjoy.
Includes:
60-minute live online workshop
Gentle guided activities and reflection
Friendly conversation with other women
Practical ideas to take away
Includes one month’s complimentary membership of The Joyful Retirement Community

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Every woman's retirement journey is different, so everyone takes away something slightly different.
Many women leave with greater clarity about what they want from this next chapter, a renewed sense of confidence and practical ideas they can begin putting into practice straight away. You'll have the opportunity to reflect on your own retirement, hear different perspectives and realise that many of the questions and feelings you may be experiencing are shared by others.
Perhaps most importantly, you'll leave knowing you're not expected to have all the answers. Retirement is a transition, not a destination, and small, thoughtful steps can make a real difference.
Your complimentary one month’s membership of the Joyful Retirement Community also means the support doesn't end when the workshop finishes. You'll have the opportunity to continue learning, connecting and building a retirement you love living alongside other women on a similar journey.
-
The Gentle Introduction Workshop is a relaxed, welcoming introduction to some of the emotional and practical changes that retirement can bring.
Together, we'll explore topics such as identity, routine, purpose, relationships and creating a retirement that feels meaningful and enjoyable to you. Through gentle discussion, practical activities and time for personal reflection, you'll have the opportunity to pause, think about what matters most and gain fresh ideas for your next chapter.
There is never any pressure to speak if you'd rather listen, and there are no right or wrong answers. Many women tell me that simply hearing other people's experiences is reassuring and reminds them that they are not alone.
You'll leave with practical ideas to reflect on at home and one month’s complimentary membership of the Joyful Retirement Community, where you can continue the conversations, attend live meet-ups and enjoy ongoing support as you build a retirement you love living.
-
I keep workshops intentionally small so that everyone feels comfortable taking part and has the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and get to know one another.
The exact number depends on the topic but they're designed to feel welcoming, personal and relaxed rather than like a large seminar.
-
Just yourself. Everything you need for the workshop is provided.
You may like to have a notebook if you enjoy making your own notes, but it's entirely optional. If you are attending a specialist workshop you can either print your Companion Guide or have it open on screen.
-
If you find you're unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible.
Where possible, I'll do my best to transfer your booking to another available workshop. Refunds may also be available depending on how much notice you can give. Full details can be found in my Refund & Delivery Policy.

Yes, that's the plan.
The Gentle Introduction Workshop is the starting point, helping you reflect on the bigger picture of retirement and what matters most to you.
Over time, I hope to introduce additional workshops exploring topics such as purpose, relationships, wellbeing, friendships, creating a fulfilling weekly routine and other aspects of building a joyful retirement.
New workshops will be announced first through the Joyful Retirement Community and on the Joyful Retirement Coach Facebook page, so they're the best places to hear what's coming next.
