At The Joyful Retirement Coach, we want you to be delighted with your purchase.

This policy explains how refunds, returns, and delivery arrangements apply to books, digital products, Gift Editions, coaching services, workshops, and other resources offered through this website.

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Books

Physical Books Purchased Through Retail Partners

Some paperback books may be purchased through third-party print and retail partners, including Lulu and other online retailers.

Orders placed through these providers are subject to their own shipping, delivery, return, and refund policies.

If you have a problem with an order placed through a third-party retailer, please contact the retailer from whom you purchased the book directly.

We are unable to issue refunds for purchases processed and fulfilled by third-party retailers.

Digital Books Purchased Through Retail Partners

Digital editions may be available through third-party distributors and retail platforms.

Purchases made through these platforms are governed by the retailer's own terms, refund policies, and customer support processes.

If you experience issues with a digital book purchased through a retailer, please contact that retailer directly.

Digital Products Purchased Directly From This Website

This may include:

  • E-books

  • Downloadable workbooks

  • Downloadable planners

  • Guides and digital resources

Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, refunds are generally not available due to the nature of digital content.

If you experience technical difficulties accessing your purchase, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Where required by Australian Consumer Law, appropriate remedies will be provided.

Gift Editions

Gift Editions are prepared, packaged, and dispatched directly by The Joyful Retirement Coach.

Each Gift Edition is carefully hand-wrapped and may include:

  • Gift packaging

  • Ribbon and tissue wrapping

  • Personalised gift message

  • Book and/or workbook as described

Delivery Area

Gift Editions are currently available for delivery within Australia only.

Delivery Timeframes

Orders are usually dispatched within 3–5 business days.

Delivery times will vary depending on destination and postal services.

Any delivery estimates provided are intended as a guide only.

Incorrect Address Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate at the time of ordering.

Where an incorrect address has been provided, additional postage charges may apply before the order can be resent.

Damaged Gift Editions

If your Gift Edition arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photographs where possible.

We will assess each situation individually and work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.

Change of Mind

As Gift Editions are prepared and personalised specifically for each order, change-of-mind refunds are generally not available once preparation has commenced.

Coaching Services

Guided Clarity Coaching Sessions

Guided Clarity coaching sessions are offered as individual one-to-one appointments online via video-conferencing.

Cancellation by Clients

Coaching appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled to another mutually convenient time.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited.

Exceptions may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Cancellation by The Joyful Retirement Coach

If we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you will be offered either:

  • An alternative appointment time; or

  • A full refund where applicable.

Additional Coaching Support

Some clients may choose to arrange further coaching sessions following an initial Guided Clarity session.

Any additional coaching support will be agreed separately and will be subject to the terms in place at the time of booking.

Workshops and Events

Participant Cancellations

Workshop or event bookings cancelled more than 7 days before the event may be eligible for:

  • A transfer to another workshop; or

  • A refund at our discretion.

Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event are generally non-refundable.

Cancellation by The Joyful Retirement Coach

If a workshop or event is cancelled or postponed by us, participants will be offered:

  • A full refund; or

  • Transfer to a future workshop.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy where goods or services fail to meet consumer guarantees.
